A busy but enjoyable few months!

Hello all, apologies for the lack of updates on the website.

We’ve had a busy few months down at the Garadh, here is a list of what we’ve been up to:

– Tots Halloween fun day & meal deal on 27th October which was thoroughly enjoyed by both young and old!

– Storytelling & ceilidh afternoon on 18th November which had a good turn out and we enjoyed listening to some old tales along with a wee tune by our talented storytellers and musicians!

– Youth club groups used the Garadh for Christmas fun and games on Friday 2nd December – it was lovely having a noisy bunch of kids in having fun in our cosy space!

– Our first volunteer Christmas dinner since pre covid took place on Friday 9th December and was an enjoyable afternoon for all that attended 🙂

– Tots Christmas jumper fun day & meal deal on 13th December which was a lovely intergenerational event for the community 🙂

– Our last gentle movement class & health walk took place on 16th December followed by a mince pie and mulled wine afternoon for volunteers, a fabulous way to end classes for the year!

– Breakfast with Santa was held on 18th December and was a fantastic day for all who attended and helped out. We didn’t expect it to be so popular so next year we know to run it over 2 days 😉

– Eoligarry school children came to the Garadh for some carol singing on 20th December, they were all absolutely brilliant and put a smile on all our faces – we hope they come back again next year 🙂

– The cafe had its last day on 22nd December and we had our last volunteer and service user day on 23rd December.
